Yesterday, my "Hypnosis For Fun" Meetup Group were doing some street hypnosis demonstrations at the Glebe markets in the inner Sydney area.
We moved around the groups of people milling around the park area doing demonstrations of suggestability tests and simple inductions. It never ceases to amaze me how powerful the subconscious mind can be. Some people definitely demonstrated the principle that "a mind is like a parachute - it only works when open."
Through false beliefs and teachings, some people were so "closed" to the idea of hypnosis that they could not even stand close to us during a demonstration. Yet, other people were open and willing to participate, enjoying the experience that hypnosis can bring.
What's the difference. We are all the same physiologically and yet the subconscious can steer us in diverse directions depending upon the patterns of thought laid down.
When you think about this...possibly you can relate it to your own life. For example, other people may be getting the results that you want in life. Through their belief systems they can see the opportunities that you do not. Have you considered that it may be beneficial to develop new empowering beliefs.
Why not see a demonstration of the power of your mind first hand.
On Friday night 25th May I'll be performing a Comedy Hypnosis Stage Show at Harold Park Hotel in Glebe. Check it out
Have a great week and look forward to seeing you at the show.
